Chapter 49 — Boss Guo's Revenge

"Welcome to Black Widow Revenge, Inc. How may we help you?" Only after both halves of the password had matched did the other side slowly ask.

"I'd like you to kill—no, to teach someone a lesson for me," Guo Jinbiao said carefully. "This person is called Bao Lin. He's from Songjiang."

"Bao Lin, is it?" The other side hesitated, then said, "You should know very well what this man does. As for the price—"

"No problem. I want his legs broken. You name the price—just make sure he's laid up in bed for three months," Guo Jinbiao said without missing a beat.

"One million," the other side said flatly.

"Isn't one million a bit steep?" Guo Jinbiao was feeling the pain in his wallet.

"Then find someone else," the other side said, and made to hang up.

"Wait, fine, a million it is—but you have to make sure he can't get out of bed!" Guo Jinbiao said hastily.

"That's no problem. You must be one of our regulars by now, aren't you? You can rest assured about our reputation—if the job isn't done, not a cent will be charged," the other party said.

"Good. So should I wire the deposit to your account, or is it still the same one as before?" Guo Jinbiao asked.

"No, we've switched to online payment now. I'll give you a web address—just fill it in following the prompts. Your transaction number is 20090133. Whatever you do, don't get it wrong," the other party said.

After hanging up, Guo Jinbiao logged onto the website, entered the transaction number, and then, following the prompts, paid the sum online.

To be continued.
