"Fine, fine. Then what do you want to play?" Shen Yushu changed the subject without so much as a blush, as if Gu Mengyao hadn't been talking about her at all.

"How should I know? Let's just go home and play video games," Gu Mengyao said. Hearing Shen Yushu mention video games a moment ago had made her want to play.

"Yay, yay!" Shen Yushu nodded. Whatever it was, she was game.

As the two were talking, Shen Yushu's phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID, saw it was her brother, and picked up at once. "Brother!"

"Xiaoshu, where are you?" Chen Yuxuan's voice came through the line.

"Yao Yao and I are at the hospital. What's up, brother?" Shen Yushu said. "If you're free, come play games with us!"

Chen Yuxuan froze for a moment when he heard they were at the hospital—his first thought was that one of them had fallen ill.
