Dongfang Cha went off to find female students for Dongfang Buruo. It had to be said that these days there were no shortage of vain, money-worshipping girls working side jobs. Dongfang Cha did not even need to leave the hotel; he simply asked around the front desk and came away with plenty of phone numbers. He found two for Dongfang Buruo on the spot, then left the hotel, ready to go dig up news about Dongfang Jian.

Dongfang Buruo could not have cared less about the matter of Dongfang Jian, but Dongfang Cha cared a great deal. "Dongfang Cha, are you trying to get me killed, you son of a bitch?" Dongfang Buruo bellowed over the line.

"Young Master Buruo... what's happened?" Dongfang Cha was utterly baffled. He had no idea why Dongfang Buruo had flown into such a fury. Cautiously he asked, "How could I possibly be trying to hurt you? What on earth has happened?"

"What's happened? Where the hell did you find those female students?" Dongfang Buruo roared.

"At the hotel, of course. The hotel staff gave me their cards, and I picked out a couple of girls..." Dongfang Cha said timidly. He could not work out how he had offended Dongfang Buruo. Could the women he had found really have been too low in quality?

That seemed unlikely. He had chosen from the photographs on the cards, after all, and had picked the two prettiest. Why would Dongfang Buruo be dissatisfied?

"Female students? One of them has mushrooms growing down there!" Dongfang Buruo shouted. "One with mushrooms, one with flowers! Lucky for me my eyes are sharp, or I'd have caught AIDS and been done for!"

"Hiss..." Dongfang Cha was badly startled. How could he ever have imagined he would run into something like this? So these were no female students at all—they were diseased prostitutes dressed up as students, and they had nearly ruined Dongfang Buruo.

"Young Master Buruo, I had no idea either. You know how it is—I found them and sent them straight up to the room. All I could see was their looks; I couldn't exactly undress them and inspect them, could I?" Dongfang Cha said with a bitter smile.

"Damn it, I've already kicked the two of them out!" Dongfang Buruo said. "I'm furious right now. Go and grab me a couple of nice, innocent female students—I want virgins! I imagine with your eye for these things, you can tell the difference?"

"That I can do, it's just... Young Master Buruo, we came out here this time to investigate the cause of Dongfang Jian's death. If we go around snatching people and something goes wrong, what then?" Dongfang Cha hesitated; he did not want any complications.

"We're already snatching Xu Shilan, so why can't we snatch a few female students?" Dongfang Buruo gave a cold snort. "Dongfang Cha, if my father ever learns that you brought me two diseased prostitutes, heh heh—well, you can figure out the rest yourself!"

"Young Master Buruo, don't be angry. I'll go and find you two absolutely stunning female students right away!" Dongfang Cha said hurriedly. "But female students of that calibre can't be found overnight..."

"That's no problem. I've already sweet-talked a couple of hotel maids—they'll do for a bit of fun. But you must find me some real beauties, and within the next few days!" Dongfang Buruo nodded.

"Right, no problem then..." Dongfang Cha breathed a sigh of relief. As long as he had some leeway, he could take his time searching; there was no need to find them all at once.

Dongfang Cha had originally intended to pay a visit to the Cultivators' Guild, but he had no choice now but to change course and stake out a school nearby. To find a peerless beauty, one needed to go about it the right way.

Dongfang Cha glanced at the navigation map on his phone. The nearest university in the area was Donghai Engineering University, so he headed straight in that direction.

Once inside the campus, Dongfang Cha did not stand around gaping like a fool at the gate, waiting for rabbits to run into a tree stump. Instead he spotted several poor students from humble families sitting and chatting beneath a basketball hoop.

"Hey, brothers, chatting, are we?" Dongfang Cha strode over and asked, pretending to make idle conversation.

"Mister, who are you?" The students were clearly on their guard. A strange man had suddenly come over to strike up a conversation, and they were wary.

"Heh heh, I'm the person in charge of the national campus belle section for XX website. I've come here to compile statistics on the campus belles of Donghai Engineering University..." Dongfang Cha said, betraying nothing in his expression.

"And why should we believe you?" The young man was plainly skeptical of Dongfang Cha's words.

"Heh heh, whoever among you knows the most—I'm paying a fee for the information." With that, Dongfang Cha pulled a stack of banknotes from his pocket, fully three or four thousand yuan.

The young men's eyes lit up at once, and they all vied to speak: "I know, I know..."

These young men were close brothers from the same dormitory, so it made little difference who received the money—they all spent it together anyway. So they all began talking at once.

"If you want to know, the three most popular campus belles at our school are Gu Mengyao, Shen Yushu, and Wang Xinyan! Those three are the top names on our school's campus belle rankings..." one of them said, opening the floodgates.

"After those three come..." Another young man was about to add something, but Dongfang Cha cut him off.

"No need to discuss the ones after them. We're selecting campus belles, not just anyone will do—the prettiest few from each school are enough..." Dongfang Cha said. "Now, tell me what departments these three campus belles are in, whether they have boyfriends, and so on..."

Dongfang Cha had made careful note that Dongfang Buruo had specifically demanded virgins, so this time he had to get the details straight. Did they have boyfriends or not? If a girl had a boyfriend, forget her—she was probably no virgin anymore.

"Wang Xinyan's love life is a bit of a mess. She has a boyfriend at school, and apparently a fiance too, but she's still living with her boyfriend..." another young man said.

Hearing this, Dongfang Cha struck Wang Xinyan off his list. How could a girl like that do? Better to stick with the first two. RS
