"Mm, not bad!" A man's laughter came from the room — and it was the voice of Li Zihua, the very man Wei Zhao had seen that day.
Wei Zhao stopped in his tracks. Li Zihua was dining here too? What a coincidence. He wondered how the man felt about having two Yellow-rank experts taken out — apparently still in the mood to come here and play with the leading ladies!
"Twins, too — what are your names?" Li Zihua had clearly perked up; his voice was thick with lecherous interest.
"I'm Xuexue, and she's Huahua..." the bolder of the twin sisters said softly.
"Mm, Xuehua — what a fine name!" Li Zihua burst out laughing. "Here, pour me a drink!"
A faint smile flickered at the corner of Wei Zhao's mouth. His mind was made up. He quickened his pace back to his own private room.
An Liwen and Su Taizao had already agreed between themselves: they absolutely had to find Wei Zhao a girl. Even if he did not want one, they would talk him into it — otherwise the whole trip would be wasted!
So the two of them had decided that if Wei Zhao refused, they would ply him with drink until he was drunk and then force a girl on him. One way or another, he was not getting out of it tonight!
Wei Zhao pushed the door open and stepped into the private room. An Liwen waved to him warmly. "Brother Lin, come in, come in! I've already told the hotel manager to find us a few lively girls!"
"Wonderful!" Wei Zhao at once put on a show of delight, his face wreathed in smiles. "Once we've eaten and drunk our fill, a few girls will be just the thing!"
"Good, a man of spirit!" An Liwen was delighted too. He had been afraid Wei Zhao would refuse, but now that he had asked for it himself, everything was going his way. "The girls at this hotel are all top quality — I guarantee you'll enjoy yourself!"
"Mm, I've heard as much. But Brother An, I'm a man of rather refined taste — ordinary goods won't do for me!" Wei Zhao wagged his head as he spoke. "You know as well as I do, the ones I'm used to are campus-belle caliber!"
"I understand completely! Rest assured, I'll find you the very best!" An Liwen thought to himself: I'm not afraid of you being picky, only of you not wanting one at all. As long as the notion is in your head, I can get the hotel manager to find something to satisfy you!
"That's more like it!" Wei Zhao chuckled and sat down, looking very much as though he could hardly wait.
An Liwen shot Su Taizao a look. Su Taizao had already slipped out of the room, and before long a middle-aged man of about thirty came in, followed by five pretty girls with sweet faces.
"Manager Yang, I never expected you to bring them yourself. I'm truly honored!" An Liwen smiled.
This Manager Yang was the hotel's general manager, answerable directly to the big boss, and everything that went on inside the hotel was his to decide. Others might not know who An Liwen and Su Taizao were, but he knew very well! A few years back they had been the talk of Songshan City; even the hotel's big boss had to show them respect, let alone a hired manager like himself!
"The honor is mine, that Young Master An should grace our Starlight Splendor with his presence!" Manager Yang said with a smile.
