Chapter 649 — A Drugged Qiu Lingshan

The Blossom Guardian · Page 1 of 2

With the cameras no longer a threat, Qiu Lingshan finally could not hold out. She did not want to do that sort of thing to herself, but her body's movements were no longer something her mind could govern...

Qiu Lingshan was in agony. Her body felt as though it were about to catch fire, and if she did not release it soon, she had the urge to burn herself to death... Her breathing grew more and more ragged. She truly could not bear it any longer; her thoughts could no longer control the consciousness of her limbs...

An Liwen's headquarters were not large, in fact only three storeys, and there was but a single fire escape. Wei Zhao quickly found the entrance to the basement—this, surely, was the dungeon the tattooed man had spoken of.

At the basement entrance stood an iron door, which looked very sturdy indeed, though to Wei Zhao's current strength it was nothing at all.

Wei Zhao came to a stop before the iron door and did not rush to act. Instead he waited a moment. The jade pendant at his chest gave no reaction whatsoever—which meant there was no danger inside that could threaten him! This jade pendant had by now become Wei Zhao's golden finger; it was thanks to this pendant that Wei Zhao always seemed to enjoy a sudden burst of luck, pulling through danger after danger.

Only then did Wei Zhao leap up and drive a kick at the iron door. With a thunderous boom, the door caved in halfway under the blow. Wei Zhao had held back for fear of harming Qiu Lingshan inside; otherwise the door would have simply flown off its hinges—and for an adept of the early Profound rank, that was no more than a lift of the hand!

Once the iron door had caved in halfway, Wei Zhao added another kick, and only then did it crash to the ground with a boom!

In that instant Qiu Lingshan was scared senseless. The movements of her hands stopped, and the desire within her seemed to halt as well!

The tremendous clangor of the iron door left Qiu Lingshan at a loss. She did not know what had suddenly happened, but when she saw that the door had collapsed entirely—and appeared to have been destroyed by some external force—her shock was beyond measure!

What kind of strength would it take to bring down that iron door? Qiu Lingshan asked herself, and knew she could not do it. An adept at the peak of mid Yellow-rank could not do it either—so what realm must the one who toppled this door be in? Or perhaps the door had not been brought down by human strength at all, but with the help of some equipment?

But when Qiu Lingshan saw Wei Zhao stride in over the fallen door, she knew her first guess had been right: the door had been kicked down by a person, and that person was one she knew—Wei Zhao, the man she both hated and fumed at!

Seeing Wei Zhao, Qiu Lingshan felt her heart loosen for no reason she could name. And when Wei Zhao stepped over the door and entered, she felt not the slightest disgust—instead, a trace of admiration? Was it because of his strength? Because he had kicked down that iron door?

Whatever the case, Qiu Lingshan had to admit that Wei Zhao was strong—truly strong! It was in this moment that Qiu Lingshan finally understood that Wei Zhao's strength was far above her own. No wonder Yang Huaijun held him in such esteem; he truly did possess the strength to warrant it!

The moment her heart relaxed, the desire within her seized Qiu Lingshan's whole body once more. Her hands again crept involuntarily toward her sensitive places... This filled Qiu Lingshan with both shame and vexation. Wei Zhao had come to rescue her; she ought to be glad—yet perversely, she wished he had come a little later!

The springtime passion in her body surged up beyond all control, leaving her gasping for breath! Qiu Lingshan's gaze grew distant once more. The dose of the drug she had inhaled was growing larger and larger, and she was losing all command of herself...

No... I can't! Wei Zhao is right in front of me—how can I do this?
