Once in the car, Gu Mengyao asked Shen Yushu, "Xiaoshu, let us go somewhere else. No more places like this! Where did you hear about this restaurant anyway?"
"I heard about it online. They said it was really nice and romantic, and also… uh, never mind, nothing. I just wanted to come and see it for myself…" Shen Yushu had nearly let it slip and mentioned the novelty items, so she shut her mouth in a hurry.
"There is nothing worth seeing. Do not trust these advertisements in the future." Gu Mengyao's impression of this restaurant was very poor, and she resolved never to come again.
"Oh… I know another place…" Shen Yushu had just started to speak when Gu Mengyao cut her off.
"All right, let us go to my family's hotel…" Gu Mengyao did not want any more mishaps. Going to their own hotel would be more reassuring.

And that Shen Yushu seemed bent on a buy-one-get-one-free deal, determined to become the lesser wife! Tang Zhi felt a headache coming on!
Wei Zhao had no idea Tang Zhi would think so much. He drove to Pengzhan Grand Hotel, where Gu Pengzhan had once held a family banquet that Wei Zhao had also attended! Gu Pengzhan had originally intended to hold such a gathering every week, but because of the earlier incident with the falling chandelier, the plan had been put on hold.
Today was Wei Zhao's second visit to Pengzhan Grand Hotel, yet the place was bustling with people coming and going, and the cars out front were no fewer than at Starlight Splendor! The cars here, however, leaned toward business models; though they were all luxurious, sports cars and the like were few and far between! It seemed Gu Pengzhan's hotel focused on formal business negotiations and conferences, while Starlight Splendor leaned toward entertainment, attracting more of the idle rich young masters.
Wei Zhao drove the car into the parking lot, where a security guard directed him to park properly.
Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu seldom appeared here. Even when they occasionally dined with Gu Pengzhan, they rode in Uncle Qing's car straight into the internal parking lot and went up through the staff passage, so these parking attendants at the entrance did not recognize the young mistress.
Gu Mengyao did not put on any airs of a young mistress either. She entered the hotel lobby quietly along with Wei Zhao, Shen Yushu, and Tang Zhi, smoothly secured a private room, and the four of them went upstairs.
Tang Zhi found it rather strange. Did none of the staff here recognize Gu Mengyao? It seemed they did not!
