Chapter 1946 — The Cause of Amnesia, Part Two: Rather, a Strange Ball of True Qi Was Wrapping a Portion of Granny Sun's Brain!
The Blossom Guardian · Page 1 of 2
This was the first time Wei Zhao had ever seen such a thing. Could this ball of true qi be what had affected Granny Sun's memory?
Yet under Wei Zhao's probing, strange as this true qi was, it seemed to harbor no ill intent. It did not look like the work of some expert deliberately laying a trap; rather, it seemed to have come into being all on its own, dwelling quite harmoniously in Granny Sun's head, without the slightest sense of rejection.
But without complete certainty, Wei Zhao did not dare touch this ball of true qi. After all, forcing out the fire-poison true qi back then had been extremely difficult; to force out the true qi in Granny Sun's head by the same method would be no small feat — and this true qi was not inside Wei Zhao's own body but inside Granny Sun's, which meant unforeseen dangers might well arise.
"Granny Sun, there is a ball of true qi inside your head, and it seems to be precisely this true qi that has wrapped up a portion of your memories. But the situation is very strange — it is the first time I have seen anything like it, so I will need to think it over and consult some materials to verify it." Wei Zhao said, "Today I will first clear the stagnant blood from your body!"
"All right!" Granny Sun agreed without a moment's thought.
Uncle Qing's face, however, had gone somewhat pale. He knew what Wei Zhao was capable of; if even Wei Zhao called something difficult, then it must be truly difficult. But Uncle Qing said nothing more, and could only hope that Wei Zhao would find a good solution.
Clearing the stagnant blood from Granny Sun's meridians was much easier. Once Wei Zhao had finished inserting the needles, he began to channel true qi into each silver needle, shattering the stagnant blood within Granny Sun's meridians so that it could flow out along the needles...
Sure enough, half an hour later, every silver needle on Granny Sun's body was coated in a layer of blackish matter — clearly the toxins from within her body...
Even though Uncle Qing and Granny Sun knew Wei Zhao was a divine doctor, they still clicked their tongues in wonder at the sight.
"Drawing out toxins with silver needles — Brother Arrow, you're amazing!" Shen Yushu peered curiously at the filth on the needles. "Brother Arrow, do I have toxins in my body too, like fire poison? Why don't you help me purge them as well and see?"
"Xiaoshu, don't make trouble — don't disturb Wei Zhao!" Fearing Shen Yushu would interfere with Wei Zhao, Gu Mengyao hastily scolded her.
"Oh, just to be on the safe side! Brother Arrow, why don't you examine me again? I can take my clothes off, you know!" Shen Yushu batted her eyes.
Gu Mengyao was momentarily speechless. She thought: this little pervert Shu — if you want to strip for Wei Zhao, then strip; why make up so many excuses? Examine your body, indeed.
"No need to take off your clothes. Just hold out your hand and let me look." Wei Zhao had no choice but to say.
"Okay, okay!" Shen Yushu held out her hand.
Wei Zhao took hold of Shen Yushu's pulse gate and checked her physical condition, then could not help shaking his head. "Xiaoshu, you're perfectly healthy — there's nothing wrong with you at all!"
"Is that so? No need to purge any toxins..." Shen Yushu said, sounding a little disappointed.
"Heh... no need." Having finished examining Shen Yushu, Wei Zhao turned to look at the silver needles on Granny Sun, felt they had about done their work, and swiftly withdrew them all. Then he said, "Granny Sun, you can take a bath now — your body must be covered in grime."
"Ah, all right!" Granny Sun, too, felt the sticky discomfort all over her body, and nodded hurriedly.
"Let me scrub your back for you..." Uncle Qing said without thinking.
"This..." Granny Sun's face flushed at once. Though she already knew that Uncle Qing was her husband, she still could not quite accept it for the moment.
