Chapter 2834 — Parting Ways

The Blossom Guardian · Page 2 of 2

"You... what are you looking at?" Tianchan, mid-stretch, saw Wei Zhao standing before her with a vacant gaze and drool at the corner of his mouth, and she was slightly taken aback.

"N-nothing..." Wei Zhao started and hurriedly averted his gaze.

Even Wei Zhao himself was somewhat at a loss as to why he was like this around Tianchan. He had by no means lacked for beautiful women in ordinary times—there were two at home, one next door, and when he attended school, one sitting at the same desk. Wei Zhao had always believed his immunity and willpower to be strong, yet before Tianchan, all of it seemed to vanish.

Wei Zhao did not know why, but Tianchan held an indescribable attraction for him.

"Aha, you were peeking!" Tianchan suddenly realized where Wei Zhao's gaze had been fixed. She discovered that her chest was bare and that she had not yet had time to bind it again with the yellow silk.

"I wouldn't call it peeking, would I? I'm just standing right here—it was your own carelessness..." Wei Zhao said with a bitter smile. "Besides, I've already felt them and looked at them. It's no big deal."

"I don't want to hear it!" Tianchan made as if to kick Wei Zhao. "Forget it right now, and don't you dare mention it to anyone."

"Oh, heh heh, I've forgotten," Wei Zhao said with a smile.

"You're smiling so wickedly—you clearly haven't forgotten!" Tianchan snorted.

"I really have forgotten," Wei Zhao said with a straight face.

"Oh, so you take your fill and wipe your mouth clean, and then deny it?" Tianchan glared at Wei Zhao and said angrily.

"I..." Wei Zhao truly had a headache. There was an old saying that hit the mark: only women and petty men are hard to deal with. Now Wei Zhao did not know how to answer.

"See, you still haven't forgotten, have you? Hmph hmph!" Tianchan looked at Wei Zhao triumphantly.

"Are you testing me?" Wei Zhao was speechless.

"All's fair in war!" Tianchan laughed so hard she swayed like a flower in the wind.

"When you laugh, I see them again," Wei Zhao said.

"You..." Tianchan stopped laughing, turned away, and picked up the yellow silk. "No looking, you hear!"

"Heh heh..." Wei Zhao chuckled.

"What are you laughing at?" Tianchan asked.

"Can't I even laugh?" Wei Zhao countered.

"Of course not. Wait until I'm done, then laugh!" Tianchan said.

"Heh heh..." Wei Zhao chuckled again.

"You... you're still laughing? Believe it or not, I'll kick you right now—I'd rather let you look at me..." Tianchan, furious, turned around and made to kick Wei Zhao.

"All right, enough fooling around. Hurry and put the yellow silk back on. I won't look," Wei Zhao said.

Tianchan turned around somewhat gloomily and put the yellow silk back on. Once she had calmed down, she too felt she had carried on with Wei Zhao a bit too far. The old her had never been like this—she did not know what had come over her today.

"I... I'm going back through the teleportation array. What about you? Shall we go together?" Tianchan hesitated a moment, then said to Wei Zhao. Now that both of them had made it up, by rights they should part, yet for some reason Tianchan suddenly felt reluctant.

"No. You go on ahead. I still have friends here—I need to go find them..." Wei Zhao shook his head and said. RS
