Chapter 220 — Here Is a Plane Ticket for You

The Blossom Guardian

"Director Zou..." To be honest, Director Ma was in a difficult spot as well. He did not know Zou Tiandi personally, but he had heard the name — the man was a somebody in Songshan City, a figure who had risen half in daylight and half in shadow, and within a few short years had opened a large KTV house and built up a considerable web of connections.

"Spare me the useless talk. I am not leaving today. Let us see who can make me go." Zou Tiandi was certainly not about to walk out of this ward just like that. It was no longer a simple matter of one hospital room; it was a question of his face in Songshan City.

If Zou Tiandi obediently did as he was told and left this ward today, by tomorrow he would be laughed out of the city.

And besides, he felt he had right on his side. Zhao Guangdong had already paid the fees and had the receipt — on what grounds was anyone throwing him out?

"Not leaving, is that it? Then I will give you a plane ticket." Wei Zhao had no time to haggle with this creature — Xiaofen was waiting for the ward! With that, Wei Zhao walked straight over, seized Zou Tiandi by the collar, and together with the IV stand beside him, gave him a shove out the door. Zou Tiandi flew out at once and landed with a thud on the bench outside the ward, while the IV bottle, as if by magic, hung itself neatly upon a row of coat hooks behind the bench.

Wei Zhao had already shown Zou Tiandi considerable face by letting him finish his IV outside before getting lost; otherwise, he would have sent him crawling under the benches.

At first, Zou Tiandi had been rather contemptuous when Wei Zhao came over to lay hands on him, and had been preparing to throw a few threats his way. Who did this fellow think he was dealing with? He was Zou Tiandi, a personage of Songshan City — and this creature dared to lay hands on him? Was he courting death?

But before he could get a word out, he suddenly felt his body floating in midair, and the next moment he was sitting on a bench in the hospital corridor.

Director Ma had not expected Wei Zhao to be so ferocious either — without even listening to a word Zou Tiandi said, he had simply hurled him out. He gave a bitter smile, though it did save him the trouble of explaining anything.

Zhao Guangdong was also somewhat dumbstruck. What kind of person was this? He had never seen the like — one wrong word and a man was simply tossed out. But Zhao Guangdong did not dare say a thing to Wei Zhao now. He was the classic bully who cringed before the strong, and seeing his boss go flying, he scrambled out of the ward in a panic to check whether the boss was hurt.

"Director Zou, are you all right?" Zhao Guangdong ran out into the corridor and asked, looking at Zou Tiandi's somewhat ashen face.

Zou Tiandi was fine — only badly frightened. Who would enjoy a turn as a flying man? Especially at his age; his heart had nearly shaken loose from its moorings.

"Today, I, Zou Tiandi, will say this much right here: if you have the guts, stay in that ward and wait; if you have not, then get lost within the hour!" Having been stripped of face, Zou Tiandi caught his breath and bellowed, pointing at the ward: "If you are not gone by then, I will keep you lot living in that ward for a full six months!"

"Bang!" Wei Zhao simply shut the ward door, not listening to a word he said.

"You..." Zou Tiandi nearly died of fury. Clutching his chest, he said, "Fine. Guts, is it? Then you just wait for me! Guangdong, call Ruoguang, tell him to bring men over!"

"Yes, Director Zou!" Zhao Guangdong had in fact been itching to make the call for a while, only the director had not given the word and he had not dared act on his own. Now, as long as they brought the boss's eldest son, Zou Ruoguang, over, then in his view the people inside that ward were finished!

Though Tang Zhi disliked violence, today she could not help but cover her mouth and smile. This fellow Wei Zhao always did things so recklessly — just like that day when he smashed up Zhang Biaogan's barbecue stall.

Just as Wei Zhao said: to deal with a certain kind of person, you must use a certain kind of method. Some people will not listen when you reason with them; you have to meet force with force.

"Young brother, that Zou Tiandi... he has some connections in the underworld. You have offended him..." Director Ma knew that Wei Zhao and Guan Xuewen were on close terms, so at this moment he felt compelled to remind him: "How about I call a few security guards over?"

"Thank you, Director Ma, but there is no need. Though I do think arranging a few surgeons would be a fine idea," Wei Zhao said.

"Eh?" Director Ma was taken aback, not quite understanding Wei Zhao's meaning. Then, on reflection — could it be that Wei Zhao meant that when Zou Tiandi brought his men over presently, someone in this ward would be injured and need a surgeon?

But why bring that on oneself? Waiting around to be beaten? Director Ma could not make sense of it, but since Wei Zhao had said so, he could only agree for now and play it by ear when the time came.

"**, you and Auntie Song go with Director Ma to fetch Xiaofen. Tang Zhi and I will wait in the ward," Wei Zhao said. "That Zou Tiandi probably will not let this go. If this trouble is not settled today, sooner or later it will be a problem — better to have it out today."

Wei Zhao had never been one to fear trouble, and in his eyes, what had happened today did not even count as trouble.

Kang ** knew Wei Zhao's abilities and was not worried. He had a kind of inexplicable faith in Wei Zhao — no matter what Wei Zhao did, he firmly believed his leader was the finest under heaven.

Song Huiping was already at a loss. She had learned from Kang's lips that Wei Zhao was a "very domineering" young master, so whatever Wei Zhao did, she could hardly intervene — she could only stand to one side in a state of alarm.

Under normal circumstances, she would not have dared to provoke a big boss like Zou Tiandi, but neither did she dare to stop Wei Zhao from provoking him.

For the moment, she could only follow Kang, walking back toward their original room with a heavy heart.

Only Tang Zhi and Wei Zhao remained in the room. Wei Zhao had told her to stay, and Tang Zhi had not refused, though her expression was somewhat uneasy. "Actually, there was no need to change rooms... It's not worth offending people over a hospital room..."

"Offend him?" Wei Zhao smiled faintly. "That thing at the door — I don't even take him seriously. If he thinks I've offended him, then so be it. But he'd better not try anything else, or he'll really have offended me."

Hearing Wei Zhao's words, Tang Zhi couldn't help but burst out laughing. "Why are you always bragging? Even if you're a young master, that man seems to be a big boss too!"

"Heh..." Wei Zhao chuckled. When you have absolute certainty that you can take another's life, it doesn't matter what profession or status that person holds — you will never take them seriously.

He had begun carrying out solo missions at the age of ten. Whether wealthy magnates or underworld bosses, in Wei Zhao's eyes there was only the target.

"Just standing there grinning like a fool!" Seeing that Wei Zhao wasn't answering, Tang Zhi turned her head away in a huff and refused to look at him.

"Tell me — I'm going out of my way to help only because Xiao Fen is your friend. Would you believe that?" Seeing Tang Zhi feigning anger, Wei Zhao couldn't resist teasing her.
