Chapter 84 — Targeting Xia Xue

"It's precisely because she's been suspended that it's frightening," Huang Shu said. "Boss Wang, don't you see it? This Xia Xue is a nasty piece of work. If she hadn't been suspended, there'd still be people reining her in, and she wouldn't dare act recklessly. But now that she's suspended, who knows what she'll do. If we let her keep digging and hounding us like this, I'm afraid she really will turn up some trace."

"You've got a point," Wang Pu said with a nod after hearing him out. "She's not following procedure at all now. For some reason she's fixed her suspicions on us. There's no evidence yet, but if she keeps pestering us like this, there's no telling what might happen."

"This Xia Xue is a dangerous one. That reckless, hotheaded type is exactly what ruins everything," Huang Shu said, hesitating a moment. "Boss Wang, how about we..."

"How about what?" Wang Pu's expression turned stern.

"While she's suspended, let's make her disappear for good," Huang Shu said viciously.

"That's not a good idea. She's a police officer, after all. If we take her out, we'll be in a whole lot more trouble, and there may be no getting out of it," Wang Pu said with some worry.

To be continued.
