Chapter 93 — Enraged

Years of Heartflutter Page 2 of 2

"Hmph." Xia Xue gave a cold snort. She had not expected her ferocious punch to be dodged by Yang Ce just like that, and immediately felt unconvinced, so her punches quickened as well.

"Done," Yang Ce said, reaching out in a way that seemed utterly ordinary, yet his hand closed precisely around Xia Xue's wrists, left and right.

"Let go!" Xia Xue had not expected Yang Ce to catch her. Flustered and annoyed, she pulled her hands back.

"Let go? Why would I let go? Go on, keep playing the monkey for me," Yang Ce said, mouth twisting to one side. "All right now—do you yield or not?"

"Who's yielded?" Xia Xue suddenly lifted her leg and drove her knee at Yang Juehuan's groin.

"Shit!" Yang Ce swore loudly and hurriedly arched his body backward; but since his hands were still clamped on Xia Xue's, even as he dodged backward her knee caught him in the belly.

Still, better the belly than little Yang Ce.

Yang Cenbin was genuinely a little angered now. He had begun with nothing more than a playful attitude toward Xia Xue and had never truly meant to fight. But seeing her pull a move like that, it would have been strange indeed if Yang Ce had not lost his temper.

"You fucking want to cut off my line and end my seed, is that it?" Yang Ce, beside himself with rage, swept Xia Xue up in a single sideways heave and hoisted her onto his shoulder.

"Who—who told you not to let go?" The moment her leg went out, Xia Xue already regretted it; she had been far too rash. Yang Yongjin was the one she had been chasing, one of the escaped convicts; Yang Ce was her friend now. Even if this was a contest, there was no call for such a vicious move.

So in fact Xia Xue had already pulled a good deal of the force from it, but Xia Xue's one flaw was her stubborn mouth; now that she saw Yang Ce fly into a rage, she was even less willing to admit she was wrong.

To be continued.
