"Wait!" Su Lengzi waved a hand, signaling A-Da and A-Er to hold off.
"Brother Lengzi, what is it?" A-Da asked quickly.
"There's a beauty!" Su Lengzi pointed toward the table where Wang Xinyan sat.
Han Jingyi was a little beauty too, but at that moment she was fiddling with her tablet computer while she ate, her head lowered, so Su Lengzi did not see her. Besides, Wang Xinyan was the first to catch his eye, and first impressions ruled; everyone else was automatically overlooked!
Su Lengzi strolled over, grinning, and came to a stop behind Wang Xinyan. He looked left and right: on one side was Wei Zhao, on the other Kang Jinglong. "Hey there, little chick, you're quite the looker! I like you!" Su Lengzi leered at Wang Xinyan, then smacked the back of Kang Jinglong's head and bellowed, "Hey, kid, on your feet for your big brother!"
"Sss—fuck!" Kang Jinglong had a great big blood swelling on the back of his head. Though it had been medicated, it had not yet gone down completely, and Su Lengzi's smack sent pain shooting through him. He leapt to his feet, baring his teeth in agony, and glared at Su Lengzi!
He had already suffered enough humiliation. A few real robbers had beaten him up—he had not grasped the situation and had taken the beating for nothing, and when he wanted revenge, he could not even find them. Then Wei Zhao had dressed him down, and since he dared not provoke Wei Zhao, he had simply endured it.
But to have his head smacked by a common little thug—Kang Jinglong had finally reached the limit of forbearance, and forbearance was no longer needed!
